Don't all firefighters ride tractors?? Kai thought it would be a good idea to take his tractor from house to house. He was definitely the envy of all the other trick or treaters.

Pumpkin Patch

Lucy is now 4 months old!

She weighs in at 13 lbs 13 oz, a little bit smaller than Kai was.

She is still sweet as can be and loves watching her big brother!

Trip to Oregon

Just got back from Oregon where we reunited all the Teply's and the Heintz's for the first time in 9 years!

Before the 6 hour plane ride. It is 6 am but I'm still smiling at this point.

Lulu is such a sweet and happy baby! She is always smiling (especially at her daddy and big brother) and it is so cute!

Summer vacation at BHI

We spent the week at Bald Head Island with the Dubes and some of their relatives from Germany. We all had a great time and Kai loved spending time with his fav cousin Charlotte and Antje and Patricks daughter Laura. So glad we got to see everyone!

July 4th

We spent the 4th at Papa and Nannie's house in Durham. Aunt Emi also flew in from Cali so she could meet Lulu for the first time. We had a fun weekend grilling out, swimming in the river, and of course doing a little shopping!

More beach!

Papa and Nannie stayed at Carolina Beach for a weekend to celebrate their 34th anniversary and we all enjoyed a few beautiful days of the surf and sand. It was Lucy's first trip to the beach and she loved the fresh air and sound of the waves.
