Em came for a quick visit over Memorial Day since she couldn't stand to be away from her favorite nephew (okay, maybe 2nd favorite--Jackson still takes #1).   

While she was here we discovered that Kai loves ranch....

At the beach

My friend Stacy and her little boy, Jax, were in town last weekend and we decided to be brave and take all the boys to the beach.  I think we only lasted about an hour. The days of relaxing on the beach with a cocktail and a magazine are definitely over!

It's been a rough couple of weeks around here.  First Kai had some sort of virus, then he got his top two teeth, and to top it off he then had an ear infection over Easter weekend.   So there hasn't been much picture taking!   We also have been really busy; Kai and I went to Atlanta to meet my friend Melissa's baby and to host a baby shower for my friend Ashley.   For Easter my Aunt Marty and Uncle Jim and cousin Nancy came to town.  Kai wasn't too impressed with the easter egg hunting but the adults sure had fun!
