Lucy's first week at home

1st bath--it was really hot so we did it outside and she didn't mind it one bit!

So things have been going pretty well with our beautiful new addition. At first Kai ignored Lucy but now he is starting to accept that she is here to stay and he is being a great big brother. He has given her a few kisses and wants to hold her hand when we are all in the bed together. However I've yet been able to capture those sweet moments on camera!

Welcome Baby Sister!

Lucille Amelia came into the world on June 4th at 2:44 pm. She weighed 7 lbs 5 oz and was 20 inches long. She is cute and pink and looks nothing like Kai as a baby! She has lots of dark hair and we think she looks more like her daddy.

Kai was a wild monkey when he came to visit us. He was very concerned that Lucy didn't have a ba-ba (pacifier) in her mouth because every baby needs a ba-ba!

Fun at the farm

Our friends, Brooke and Craig, brought their family to Wilmington a couple of weekends ago and the boys took a trip to the farm. They got to fish and ride a tractor so needless to say it was a good day. Here are some of the amazing pics Craig took....

Kai loves the beach!

We spent a week at Topsail Island to celebrate Papa's birthday and we all had a blast. The weather was gorgeous and our little sand flea had a great time playing at the beach! It's so fun to see such absolute joy on his face.

Egg Hunt at Gaga's

Kai absolutely loved the easter egg hunt this year and he was actually pretty good at finding the hidden eggs. And what a lucky boy, he got to have an egg hunt at each grandparents house!

Happy Birthday!!

We celebrated Kai's 2nd birthday at the park last weekend with the grandparents and several friends. The theme was tractors of course and Kai had a blast!
